Cosmopolitan Team Championship
june 20 - 22, 2022
Alliance Country Club, Alliance, OH
Format: Three-player team stroke play championship.
In three-player teams, players compete through their rounds of stroke play competition, with the top two scores from each three-player team compounded into a team score daily. It’s really fun, especially since teams get to toss out one languishing score per day. And, during play, you golf with players from other teams which allows you to meet new people.
The Cosmo has Gross and Net Scoring
Three days of stroke play
Three-person team with two low balls counting each day, net and gross
Individual and team scoring
Maximum combined team handicap of 60
Format Change for 2022
Gross and net scoring will be in the same field. The field will play from the same tees. There is not a separate division for net and gross: all players will be entered in gross and net scoring. The full field will play three days of golf. Flights will be determined based on net scores after round 1 is completed. Flights are net only.
Field Size: Maximum of 25 teams (75 players)
Flights: Net only; determined by Round 1 net team scores
WAGR: Individual gross scores are a WAGR ranked event.
