2023 Championship Summary
Format:
36 holes of individual stroke play

Flights shall be determined by handicap

Who Can Play:

Invitations are extended to amateur female golfers who (1) maintain a residence in Ohio and (2) have a current GHIN Handicap Index® not exceeding 25.0 at a WOSGA member club or a public course or a non-member course. The player must have reached their 50th birthday by August 21, 2023.
Entry Fee:

Member - $TBD - check the list of member clubs; if your club isn't a member, they may be eligible to join WOSGA for $75

Non-Member - $TBD - public links players and members of private clubs that are not WOSGA members

Entry fee includes green fees and cart for tournament play, range balls, prizes, and the Player’s Dinner on Monday and Closing Luncheon on Tuesday. The practice round fee is the player's responsibility.

Practice Rounds:
Practice rounds are available on August 20, beginning at 1:00 P.M. Contact the pro shop at (XXX)XXX-XXX beginning on TBD to schedule a practice round tee time. The practice round fee is $TBD and is paid by the player at the pro shop on the day of the practice round. Any contestant living within 60 miles of O'Bannon Creek Golf Club is encouraged to arrange their practice round before August 20, 2023.
Player's Dinner and Award's Luncheon:
The WOSGA invites all contestants to a reception and dinner on Monday, August 21, 2023, with Social Hour/cash bar that begins at 6:00 P.M., followed by dinner at 7:00 P.M. The Award's Luncheon is held immediately following play on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 Prizes will be awarded at the closing luncheon. Contestants are guests of the WOSGA. Guests may attend the Player’s Dinner for a fee of $65 per person. Players with guests should contact the Tournament Directors before entries close to provide guests’ names and arrange for payment.
Automotive Transportation and Walking:
Automotive transportation is required. The player is prohibited from using a caddy or carrying their bag during the stipulated round.

Registration: Check in with the starter 20 to 40 minutes before your tee time.
Round One tee times from #1 tee at approximately 8:30 A.M.
Social Hour/cash bar that begins at 6:00 P.M. followed by Player's Dinner at 7:00 P.M.
Tuesday, August 22
Final Round tee times will be announced on Monday, shotgun format if allowed
Award's Luncheon immediately following the close of play; awards are
presented at the Luncheon
