Important Tournament Information about Scorecards, Rules, Handicaps and Flights

You will pick up your scorecards for Monday and Tuesday in the pro shop. Make sure to bring your
card with you on Tuesday. Please exchange cards and verify hole by hole scores. There will be no
hole location sheets, you will need to estimate yardages to the hole.

Please read and sign the wavier then place it in the box in the pro shop labeled WOSGA Waivers
before your round.

Tee Gift
Your tee gift is with your scorecards and wavier in the pro shop and can be picked up before your
round on Monday.

At the end of your round on Monday, you will confirm your scores and then drop your scorecard in
the box marked WOSGA Scorecard in the pro shop. On Tuesday, there will be a scoring table.

Be prepared to make common rulings such a ground under repair or penalty area drops on your own.
If you need a more complete ruling, play two balls. If needed, document the situation using your cell
phone. You might download and use the USGA rules app. No rules official will be on the course.
Sorry, this is a COVID year and not as we hoped it would be.

Handicaps and Flights
Because of net scoring this year, we are trying our best to get the most accurate Handicap Indexes
(HI) for players while still providing tournament information to you in a timely manner. Thus,
WOSGA updated player handicap indexes as of 9/19/2020 at noon. Cathy Jefferson and Shirley
Vaughn verified HI and calculated Course Handicaps for Piqua Country Club using the USGA
Handicap Calculator/System. Your Course Handicap is listed on the attached spreadsheet and
replaces the previously attached information about your handicap for this event. Because handicaps
have been adjusted, your placement into a flight may have changed as well. Please review your
handicap and flight information and if you have any questions, please contact Cathy Jefferson at
(937) 750-5676 no later than 5:00 PM on Sunday Sept. 20. No changes to your handicap will be
made after this time.
