2019 Ohio State Championships

2019 AM Champ Ali Green.JPG

Ali Green defeated Elizabeth Kim 3 & 2 during Thursday morning's championship match.

Ali Green added this title to an already impressive list of accomplishments. A resident of suburban Cincinnati, Ali is currently an Intervention Specialist working with severely disabled children at Reading Middle School.  It is a job that requires patience, as does championship golf.  She is also the girls’ varsity golf coach at Lakota East High School and during the summer months, she helps facilitate the local youth golf clinics.

Ali’s high school career at Lakota West was very impressive, as was her collegiate career at Ashland University where she was a four-year letter winner and made trips to the NCAA regional and national championships. Green has been a force on the Cincinnati golf scene as well, capturing the 2017 Women’s Metropolitan Amateur Championship and as well the runner-up in 2017.

We would like to congratulate Ali Green as she celebrates her first WOSGA Amateur Championship title.
